The program includes 30 gamified assignments that cover a range of topics, such as automating prior authorization forms, deriving AI/ML-driven insights from healthcare data, and achieving healthcare interoperability. Participants can work with a number of AWS services in a simulated hospital environment.

The program is part of AWS's commitment to providing free cloud computing skills training to 29 million people worldwide.

Millions of Americans' sensitive medical data were stolen after hackers exploited a vulnerability in MOVEit file transfer software. The data includes names, dates of birth, home addresses, Social Security numbers, and health insurance information. The HCPF says that about 4.1 million individuals are affected. IBM has not yet publicly confirmed that it was affected by the hacks. The Clop ransomware gang has claimed responsibility, but the data has not yet been posted online. This is the latest in a string of data breaches involving MOVEit software. If you are concerned that your data may have been compromised, contact the affected organizations and take steps to protect yourself from identity theft.
